Allotments
The Council has two allotment sites. One at Melrose Avenue which is well used, and there are very few vacancies. The Allotment Holders Association takes an active interest in keeping it as clean and tidy as possible.
The second site at Allum Lane (accessed off Watling Street) is under-used, and many of the original plots have returned to a 'natural state', and are no longer suitable for allotment use.
